Kitchen Sync Strategies works with food hubs, processors, and regional food and farm businesses to bring sustainable, products to institutions like hospitals, K-12 schools, and universities.

We help small farmers and food hubs tap into institutional wholesale market channels

We know the real story: farming and operating a food hub is incredibly difficult work. The promise of local institutions being supporters of your food or farm business is enormous, but so are the challenges in serving those customers without sacrificing your mission. Let us help you reach your own growth goals by making sales to the anchor institutions in your region.

We provide sales support for food hubs

We know small farms and food hubs are overworked and underpaid, and we broker sales to wholesale institutional accounts so you don't have to. As a team, we'll increase your efficiency and profitability to support your farmers even more.

We connect you to advocates

Kitchen Sync has strong relationships with national nonprofits and movements who support farm-to-institution work. We leverage those networks to find more buyers who understand your value as an aggregator and the value of your farms.

We develop regional value chains and market your food

Because we know what institutional buyers want and we have relationships with processors, we can work with you to identify 'opportunity products' that increase your sales and bring prosperity to your small farms.

Kitchen Sync supports Northeast Food Collective to sell regionally sourced and lightly processed food to institutions in New England

Building on Health Care Without Harm's support of an emergent collective of local vegetable and value-added processors in MA and VT, we worked to build and implement a shared sales strategy for the Northeast Food Collective. This work extends the "local" season in New England by bringing lightly processed veggies and value-added products to institutions across the region.
